Abstract
The Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) training course covers the techniques and tools used to conduct successful investigations on the Internet. Each topic will include hands-on exercises where attendees gain real-world experience with the tools and techniques discussed. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to produce relevant, timely and actionable intelligence on persons or organisations of interest.

- Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Gathering
- Discussion of the OSINT sources that can be used to investigate an individual
- Using search engines effectively to find exactly what you are looking for
- A run through the tools (open-source and commercial) used for information gathering and analysis
- Details on how to extract meta-data from images including GPS details and device information
- How to connect to and monitor chat rooms and forums (On the surface, deep and the dark web)
- Deep dive into the latest tools for network-based investigations (datasploit, recon-ng, spiderfoot)

- During this workshop the attendees will use the skills gained throughout the days training to create a detailed dossier on:
